What we do and how we do it...
Decision Process to Host a Tournament
We will start by answering a number of questions that will help you, the Club, and our staff guide you through the decision making process. For example: What time of year would the event be held? Where is the best soccer complex to host this event? What levels of competition is the tournament looking for?
Preparation to Announce Tournament
Here you will schedule the dates of the tournament and send an application to the state soccer association to host the event. This is where we will assist you in looking at the hard cost factors and our experienced staff will help prepare the budget. This is a crucial step in assuring that you have the resources to operate the event.
Revenue! It’s the Bottom Line
The bottom line of your budget is priority. You will generate revenue through entry fees, but we will also look at other ways to flow dollars to the bottom line. Here we will look at concessions, merchandise ideas & sales and hotel revenue.
Marketing the Event Efficiently
You can spend lots of dollars to market your tournament and not get a positive response. There are several ways to market your tournament efficiently and we can show you how. Items covered here include: application, website, marketing/advertising, logo design, etc.
Tournament To Do List
A “to do” list of things that need to be completed prior to the tournament is essential. This is a comprehensive list that will give estimated deadlines based on your tournament dates. Our staff will offer suggestions and assist in any way possible to complete these tasks.
Directing the Tournament
Don’t panic! This is why you have worked so hard during the past six months. Now that you have planned your work, it’s time to work your plan. We will provide you with the necessary information to conduct a successful tournament from coach check-in until the last team has pulled out of the parking lot.
Wrap-Up & Evaluation
Evaluation of the tournament's success will be provided by our staff. We will review the tournament’s budget and actual net profit of the event. Your Club will be provided with a full report to assist you in growing the tournament the following year.
Also provided are: sample forms, letters and other necessary documents as well as game scheduling templates.
